I won’t say much about this, given how even just a slight bit of information would be enough to absolutely spoil the eery experience of this read. what I will do is make two comments, a serious one and a not so serious one: 1. these short stories are intimate, creepy, haunting, disgusting, grotesque and beautiful. they have given me great inspiration for my own work and reading them was a fantastic experience. 2. there is skibidi-toilet… well, at least something adjacent needless to say, I highly recommend this collection
I have rec’d this before but I’m doing it again. A collection of strange, odd, eerie stories. Some are kind of gross, others shocking, some are just heartbreaking. Altogether refreshing! One of the reviews said this book will resonate w people who used to like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark as kids— i used to be one of those & I agree.
Such a unique collection of odd, strange, eerie short stories!!! Absolutely recommend— my favorites were Scars and Reunion. There’s a review that says that people who liked Scary Stories to Read in the Dark as kids would like this book. I think they were spot on w that.
listening to music on a bus or on the train while alone and looking out the windows with some music in your ears is the closest thing to the poetic experience ever
