Rewatched this on Valentine’s Day when I was feeling down and it made me giggle for the first time in weeks.
this movie is inexplicably human and to an extent everything we are told we are not supposed to do — waste away a day and fall in love with a stranger. In the end, the movie is about giving in — to ourselves, to our deepest desires no matter how impractical.

I think falling in love is one of the most beautiful things a human can experience. This movie makes me feel comforted, and reminds me of the art of a shared conversation between two people who admire each other upon first meeting. It's a slow-paced film that an old-school hopeless romantic, like myself, can resonate with. It feels like poetry to watch.

I’ve always been shy but this film really made me appreciate the beauty of authentic interactions with strangers. Their dialogue feels so real that it encourages you to seek out those around you after you watch it. Best movie ever

Sounds bizarre, but as an anxious, ambitious, type A girlie, there’s nothing that I want more than to be able to shut my brain off and have someone ‘provide’ for me (not financially, but like, metaphorically). Able to fix my computer problem? Hot. Can build me a shelf? Hot. Just generally knows how to navigate the world? Very hot. Competence is underrated.

My friends and I have been meeting every Wednesday to do a communal craft and I couldn’t recommend it more. We get to chat for a couple hours while being somewhat productive. 10/10, very lovely experience overall — we also do group yoga on Thursdays
