one of my favorite videos for so many reasons as an arsenal fan I stumbled on this video years ago watching clips of ledgendary Arsenal player Ian Wright. While doing a segment on the old Arsenal stadium (Highbury), the crew surprised Wright with Mr. Pigden, his old school teacher. Mr. Pigden took him under his wing at a young age, taught him football, kept him on track in school and was like a father to him. As he went on with his career he heard that Mr. Pigden had died. school teachers are so important and rock this world!!!

Y’know, like comfort media. The kind of thing you find yourself coming back to every year. Maybe it’s nostalgia, maybe you’re sentimental, or maybe it’s just good for a laugh. I came across this again the other night, after not seeing it for a few months. Was reminded that I’ve been watching it sporadically every year for half a decade now. The algorithm seems to send it to me a couple times a year and every time it does, I’m reminded of how much I love it. Maybe it’s the atmosphere. the first 4 minutes of birds chirping. the greens and blues that radiate off the screen. Maybe it’s just the music. But everytime, without failure, it makes me hopeful. Optimistic about everything still coming. Do you have one? I can’t be alone here. share it, if you do. I’d love to watch it and hear about what makes it special to you :)

love this video, have watched it a million times. showed my mom it in a bank lobby and told her i wanted to be him - she wasn’t stoked on that but she liked with his vibe. reminder that life can be so chill and pure and that money doesn’t have to be at the centre of anyone’s goals or happiness. still and always trynna be like him :)

right as the buds turn to small little mouse ear leaves, the lime green shade that seemingly pops out of nowhere and blankets the trees is always my favorite

winter - sweet oranges, persimmon etc summer - big heirloom tomato and sprinkle of salt, watermelon, stone fruit no need to worry about the mess bc u just wash it right away! someone or maybe the internet recommended eating a cold orange or other citrus in a hot shower and I can confirm that is also a great sensory experience
