There’s so many aspects Robocop that are worth highlighting, but the one that sticks in my head is this guy. He appears twice in the movie on CRTs, and he’s touted as some sort of game show host. All he says is “I’D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!” He’s geekin’ out and the viewer in each scene absolutely looses it. It’s campy, it’s hammy, and it‘s honestly pretty creepy.
