i know i want them. i know i need them. i know which ones i like. i know having a blanket for curtains is fugly. will i ever buy the curtains? only time will tell.
why are curtains so expensive
Ive been redesigning my room and I realized that for most of my life Ive used realy dark curtains. Like curtains that block iut the light. Recently I went away and stayed at this place that had thin white curtains and it was the most amazing thing ever. I loved how I could keppy my privacy and still let a ton of light in. A super tiny thing but I live feeling the sun. Will defo spoil myself w sum good, thin curtains 😌😌
i have a ”tapestry“ hung on my wall that’s actually a throw with a bunch of designer chairs on it… this is my art school attendee, chair enthusiast version of the mandala wall hanging… i would check out some thrift stores to see if they’ve got any cool throws, or like you said, rugs, and if its in your budget, a lot of artists like to produce throw blankets now!!! (they are all eerily similar in composition fabric/weave wise? idk if they use the same manufacturer)
I've posted about this once before and will post about it again, I'm sure. One of the things that I have noticed since getting letterboxed last year is how afraid people are to admit they like something. that new animated k-pop movie on netflix made me notice this again when three of the people that I have on there prefaced their reviews with a variant of "i consumed this ironically, but it was actually kind of good..."
...LAME... and a little bit pathetic to see tbh.
We really need to remember that you only live once. just fucking enjoy the stuff you like, and stop asking the world for permission and acceptance to do so! being so afraid of what others will think when you post a review under a kid's movie is more cringe than admitting you like a kid's movie.
