Personally, I’m usually a full-album kind of guy. not big on shuffling playlists. That Said, this is the best example I could think of of an album which *must* be experienced consecutively, in one sitting. if you haven’t heard it, be ready for emotional trauma

I'm a pretty big "albums only, no playlist" purist - even for playlists I listen to, I usually wind up scoping any artists that catch my ear in full. All that being said, I will *never* listen to Sunbather piecemeal. Every song on it rules, but within the context of the album as a whole, it's an entirely different experience. In general, I think that even really good singles are better when in the context of their album.

even on first listen, i cant possibly sit thru this album without feeling a profound sense of longing. its hypnotic in a deeply melancholic way that idk how to describe. This was heavy in my rotation for a long time & now I usually skip it unless im ready for a tsunami of emotions

Never went deep on microphones or mount eerie but now I am going deep. Listened to the glow pt.2 for the first time and it paralyzed me. Sat on my bed with noise cancelling headphones on and just sat still and listened. Musical paralysis, incredible stuff. This has also reignited my LOVE for Dear Nora, and why not throw some beat happening in there for a PNW triple threat.
