I swear by these. Mighty enough for hours of techno, irresponsibly loud diy shows, etc. and they have great clarity/are so comfortable/are small. I walked out of a 3-hour Swans show thinking, "boy, I love not having tinnitus." ~$25 but so so worth it.

I use these when playing music. They do a nice job of turning down everything, but I also fall back on the cheap foam fellas when I forget these at home.
But seriously, as a guy in his late-30’s with mild tinnitus, believe me when I tell you this shit sucks!! Literally anything is better than nothing.

I see I’ve recommended them previously. I think they’re worth the price as long as you aren’t prone to losing little things.
They are much easier to use and more comfortable than the foam ones that always seem to be popping out of people’s ears.
The only negative I’ve found with them is sometimes they block too much in the range of female vocals or guitars, but that’s been rare and probably happens with anything other than a custom made musician‘s ear plug.

Finally got a chance to break in these bad boys. Way better than normal earplugs, somehow these just quiet the sound without deadening it and disconnecting me from the experience. Also the black keys still rock

I've been on a real journey lately. You see the person across the room and you know them... and you know they know you... but you know that they aren't going to come over and say hi... do it. Take the plunge. However the approach needs to happen, make contact. Don't wait until you see them at the next networking event and say "hey were you at the taco place the other day?" It's surprisingly empowering and frankly kind of an impressive social maneuver. The reward is giddy and powerful and immediate. It makes me feel like I've broken out of the matrix.

My friend and I happened upon this. Meaning, strive to live your life in a way that makes you feel hot. Dress to feel hot. Talk to feel hot. Do whatever you do, but in a way that makes you feel like you're worthy of the love and adoration and crushes and desire you deserve. This does not mean "sexy" necessarily--hotness is always shifting and has many forms. But reach deep inside and you'll find that your own personal method and mode of hotness can always, and most of the time is, an excellent guide.
