having a carabiner on your beltloop

with your keys and everything else you might want on there… its kind of giving ran through but what they don’t tell you is that it is immensely helpful to know exactly where they are at any given point… (this is coming from someone who randomly sets things down on surfaces and swears they will remember where they left the thing but they end up forgetting anyways)

Using the little pocket in jeans

I‘ve started habitually putting my chapstick and a lighter in my little pocket. I also put my multivitamin in there if I haven’t eaten yet and am going to be out. In a bigger pocket, these things just shift around and leave a bump, but not the tiny one—it is secure.
