i love 'arugula' i'm from australia so we call what americans call 'arugula' "rocket" which are both fun names if you think about it... like someone looked at a veggie and named it "rocket" sometimes i wish we called it arugula coz it's so much fun to say ARRROOOOOOOGGGGGGLUHH!!!
my rocket goes technically out of date tomorrow
as if that’s gonna stop me i also hate that it’s called arugula in the usa question mark???
like rocket is so much better on the kiki vs bouba scale, rocket is defo kiki and arugula sounds too bouba for the taste
it also looks kiki look at those spikes delish
^^ the best!!!! i’m w thomasmorris on this. it goes w everything, it’s high in fibre & vitamin c, & it’s versatile 2 boot…. roast it, steam it, soupify it, shred it & put it in a salad!!!!! what can’t it do??! plus the texture makes me soooo happy without fail.
rocket = the worst. i genuinely just don’t see the charm. @ this point i suspect that i’ve got some anti-rocket genetic mutation. so bitter & soapy!!!!! ruins every salad it meets.
look at these little critters i have carefully placed in a lovely group together on my windowsill personally doing shit like this makes my inner child so happy like look at the sweetness u should try it :~)
wow i recently realised that in scans of cells etc - the cells aren't colourful themselves but it's the process of the fluorescent dyes they use to see the results... here is a pic of some serotonin crystals under a microscope... like how cool and pretty? science is so beautiful
spearmint and peppermint tea is so good because i think it's rare to find a tea that you can drink all year round. in summer it's refreshing and invigorating yet in winter it's also quite comforting and warming. so versatile - shoutout spearmint/peppermint tea
