choc_orange try doing it always! personally it reduced my flare ups (tho disclaimer i did accutane a few yrs ago which also helped) but i also just think in general going for a glowy, dewy look during a breakout rather than covering it up is very chic!! kind of gives cool person It Girl etc vibes

choc_orange so felt, sometimes my concealer being visible on my uneven skin drives me more crazy than my acne, idk it’s a battle I’m still fighting

marxinista I so agree I haven’t really worn base makeup regularly in something like seven years and it gave my skin the chance to recalibrate and helped me learn to accept it as it was!!

Right now its some variation on This
The staples are a Laura mercier Smokey eye palate that I got in 2016, a brown jay manuel lip liner (same era) that I use as eye liner, sometimes the dr jart cicapair stuff if my face looks red, and either some soap or clear glossier boy brow for the brows. Mascara sometimes, and some sort of lip If it works with my outfit, but mainly just this sort of messy Smokey undereye and some sort of eyeshadow sometimes (applied with my finger) depending on the rest of my look…and sometimes a white accent (nyx liquid white eyeliner). No foundation ever. These photos are both the dolled up version, usually it’s just the brown lip liner as eyeliner lol

NO MASCARA
I’ve been really liking doing concealer, blush, eyebrow gel, a little bronzer and some eyeshadow and NO MASCARA. This has been a game changer and it’s made it so much easier to wash my face at night
