Hyman Bloom's paintings are phenomenal, so visceral, so rich with color and texture. seeing his work irl was so deeply moving. i really cherish the book i got of his paintings, i'm always returning to it for inspiration and just to enjoy his bold approach to the medium.
This painting is so captivating and memorable to me 😍😍 I'd love to see it in person someday. Also, there's a book named after this painting by Alan Burns which is supposedly very good.
