all the versions are so beautiful and each add their own little thing — i knew the this mortal coil version first bc i love anything 4AD (and was recently reintroduced to it in David Lynch’s lost highway) and from the credits of the movie i learned that tim buckley wrote the original which ive been listening to a lot recently his voice is so calming. also the 070 shake version is wonderful and so like everything the song was meant to be & petrichor was my AOTY
