BEING LOCKED OUT IN THE RAIN
sitting on the fire escape waiting for my roommate to get home from work. the rain has gotten to the point where the pitter patter of drops on my head and shoulders is kind of comforting. giving me lots of time to think. maybe some piece of the world knew i needed to take a break.

bugs are friends
inconvenience/annoyance should not give us the right to kill a bug once you start, you begin to realize how friendly some of them are. my favorite are small milkweed bugs. they will crawl up on my desk while I work and just hang out with me. i still struggle with flies though ... god they are so fucking annoying
