Hay muchas aplicaciones que tienen mejores sistemas que Duolingo (Rosetta Stone, Babbel), pero personalmente puedo recomendar Busuu porque he tenido bastante experiencia usándola en el pasado. Tiene ejercicios de escucha y de habla bastantes buenos.
Pero ya que solías ser capaz de hablar conversacionalmente, nomás tienes que intentar hablar con alguien, aunque sea solo muy sencillo al principio. Intenta pedir comida en un sitio donde se habla español y cosas así. También hay otras aps de intercambio de conversación con hablantes nativos a las que puedes apuntarte (HelloTalk, Tandem).

Y por fin siempre estoy buscando compañeros/as para practicar – mi nivel de conversación es aceptable, pero aún necesita mejorar mucho 😶💭🙃 🗣️

es el español, y aquí se siente raro pensar en español y leer todo en inglés.
ahora ya todo está en ingles, quisiera poder leer más cosas en español que no me causen asco.
todo lo que ves en español si no es súper crudo, sientes el dinero detrás de la información.
es raro poder expresarse de esta manera, que me da a mí por mi generación vibras de tumblr. me gustaba escribir mucho en tumblr.
todos se han burlado de mí por escribir y ese precisamente es el problema, nadie le pone corazón a nada en español “suena mejor en inglés “
es un pensamiento que tengo tan internalizado que al para ir ver lo que pasa, me da asco.
no sé, son muchos pensamientos y no puedo ponerle un orden, quisiera poder amar y abrazar mi idioma como parte de mi también.
que feo que las personas se refieran a ti idioma como “idioma de pobres”

finally using my portable CD player again to listen to my favorite album that isn't on any streaming services anymore!! it's so fun to have physical copies of media I like, and it was great to not use my phone for once (though the CD would pause every time I accidentally bumped into the player while I was walking to class; it was kind of charming but also pretty annoying).

After watching the new Eddy Burback video I have been inspired to delete every evil application from my phone so I can actually live my life. I have had Instagram for almost nine years now, so it felt very powerful to delete it <3

my roommate and I were making a list earlier of movies we wanted to watch, which made me think of how many books and video games and albums I have on my lists that I just haven’t gotten around to. (let alone my hobbies like learning guitar or studying languages or doing creative stuff!!!) which also made me realize.. if I put off things that I WANT to do, what have I been doing with my time then??? Scrolling social media??? I’ve lost so much time endlessly scrolling my phone, and I think it’s time I get around to all of those pieces of art and hobbies and experiences I’ve been putting off. And, on that note… I should go to sleep so I can enjoy tomorrow instead of feeling tired and unmotivated. Goodnight PI, I hope you all listen to some good music tomorrow. Xoxo Isaac
