I was recently at a concert with my girlfriend and a complete stranger asked if she could take our photo and gave it to us. It was really sweet and warmed my heart. Nothing in it for her except to bring us joy!
every time i see a stranger take a picture of the people they are with, i offer to take a photo of the whole group, original photographer included. especially families. i have never had the offer refused.
While I was in Tbilisi, I was trying to capture photos of people after getting to know them and listening to their stories a bit. One evening, I noticed a girl smoking as she watched the sunset. I gathered some courage—since it was my first time doing something like this—I approached her. I mentioned that she looked beautiful in that moment. After taking her photo, she smiled and said, “Thank you. I was feeling so down and in a really bad mood. You made my day.” After that I literally smiled 3 days straight :,)
