They are great and so underrated! There is something so magical about listening to music in the comfort of your home, but being transported to the effervescent atmosphere of a live show.

An official bootleg I'm very happy to own on CD. my favourite band of all time, and their energy in shows is beautiful always, but something about this recording is completely unmatched. It's probably my favourite live album ever. Their back-to-back sets Alivelectric and Aliveacoustic are also very good.
Also quite partial to STRFKR's Live from Brooklyn Steel, and Les Rallizes Dénudés only has live albums, but '77 LIVE is a great psych noise rock show. It just now occurred to me that you might be talking about concerts specifically and not just live albums, so I'll also throw in that I saw They Might Be Giants in Ithaca, NY for their Flood 30th anniversary tour and it was a real delight. They pull out so many tricks that I was just wowed by!

i think all artists should be contractually obliged to release a live version or a from ___ version from a show they've done. i love live music but it is prohibitively expensive, if you listen to the live version while jumping around with friends in the living room well...that's close enough. a basic fav is the lorde feature on don't the money by the bleachers, it's live, it has lorde, it's perfect

Watched this last month, and there been a vote, and I’m happy to announce that it’s now my new favourite movie. I’m going to memorize a bunch of quotes, buy a much of memorabilia (a movie poster baby tee, a movie poster, and perhaps Al Pacino pillow ☺️) and learn a much of random facts about the movie to really cement it. Next step, is when someone compliments my super cute Dog Day Afternoon baby tee because they like the movie too, I will quiz them about futile facts to establish dominance and superiority because it’s MY favourite movie. NOTE: this will only be done to men, I will gush and fangirl alongside any non identifying men :))
