Commercial dog (at night)

california pointed out I should post Commercial Dog when he has his spotlight! The picture is as dramatic as it felt when we realized he had been posed on the wall so you could see him in the inky black of nighttime walking down Commercial Drive. I’m very happy someone in the world exists who posts dogs on walls.

Brooches

I’m too dear with lovely things. I keep the brooch my 2nd grade teacher gave me in a box, safe, and because of this I’ve never worn something I really like! I recently decided I needed to wear my brooch with the sweater I finished knitting this weekend. It made it feel even more special. :)

The contrast Between the bright green of new growth and the darker old scales of a cedar tree leaves

I was talking to a friend who’s visiting home after being abroad and we both agree that not seeing familiar trees fills you with a certain longing/loneliness. I love western red cedars!
