Iām extremely late to the party but this was such a brilliantly made film. love how tilda swintonās character always had her phone torchlight on,, in love with julio torresās storytelling!!

a must-see; julio torres and A24 did NOT disappoint. itās genius and soo funny. anyone who dislikes it probably hates fun and has zero sense of whimsy
Saw it yesterday and feel late to the game recommending. So so good. Transportive, funnier than I expected, incredible character building and performances. felt gen z in a good way (which feels rare for media these days?) Maybe also see it as a matinee if you can!
I know there is no shortage of discussion and appreciation for this but I just saw the directors cut at the Alamo and it really clicked this time I watched it first in eighth grade study hall on my phone constantly looking over my shoulder especially during that scene and then the second time in a dorm lounge with everyone else mad at me for picking such a āweirdā movie (however those same friends liked infinity pool when we went so I donāt really know what couldāve been that much more off putting about this) It is just so well done and I love all the buildings that were actually constructed I also love all the moments of silence throughout they really just elevated the discomfort of everything happening Also for how fucked up it is it is also so funny which I love Acting is phenomenal too I love William Jackson Harper, Florence Pugh and Will Poulter Unrelated note: diet coke is THE drink of the people there were 9 other people in the theater and literally every one of them ordered a Diet Coke
Iām tired of my friendships only being sustained through the exchange of memes and reels. i crave proper conversations- where the other person shows equal interest. Iām tired of people pretending to not care or not be too interested or that they have other options?! ughhhh we are all too scared of being perceived differently from how we wish to be perceived because of how much we get to control our image on the internet (read receipts off- canāt let them know i read their message) It feels like people literally throw their phone away in the fear that theyāll seem too interested after they message you- which defeats the entire point of a conversation.
recommending change on here cause today i woke up in a different city and even tho i was extremely nervous about moving- i feel so good,, i needed this change in scenery.
