😃
I have autism, and I just found out last year. One of my friends who’s also on the spectrum showed me this chart template and said it really helped her identify things that affect her day-to-day life. The more a section is filled in, the more it affects you or it’s more of a struggle. I wanted to share this for other neurodivergent folks, even though I think it’s mainly used for autism specifically. If you can’t read my handwriting, I can re-type the different sections to clarify. Hopefully this helps somebody! ❤️

it's like playing life on hard mode except hard mode is accepting every single side quest with reckless abandon and finishing main quests much later than everyone but also having the random skills and interesting anecdotes to show for it. i'm sick of people acting like being neurodivergent is a deficit, it's low key the biggest life hack once you figure out how to harness it and work with rather than against it. get diagnosed, learn and understand your condition, and own it - it's low key a flex.

I first shaved my head in 2017 because I wanted to do something bold with my body, something I had considered for 2 whole weeks before just doing it. Now, I haven’t cut my hair since November 2024 and my hair is in the pixie stage. When people, usually women, ask me about cutting my hair, I always tell them to do it at least once because it’s so liberating to reclaim your body in a very obvious but temporary way. It’s also nice to not worry about extensive care and maintenance. I’m not sure if I’m going to like having long hair again, but I’m going to give it another try.
