ok so this isn’t the most diverse list in terms of time period or filmmaker, but i’ve rewatched all of these at least 3 times (20th century women, 10+ times) and i think the four of them together say something about who i am as a person. all 4 are really good movies!!

You’ll find it under Stand Up Comedy, but… Also: Leaving Las Vegas was big for me way back when Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) - yes, I will recommend this film every chance I get Lost In Translation Terms of Endearment
