Just extremely Expressive so much movement feels like its breathing and bleeding beneath you . continues to be extremely topical in my life as well as being some of the best production ever done . Lots of talk these days of dijon & mkgee & their electric bond & style theyve cultivated over a couple albums yada yada But this to me is like the perfect example . Best ever
an incredible exploration of raw, unadulterated expression dijon and his team did such a phenomenal job in creating a shared space for the listener and himself, whether it be from the way in which instruments are positioned in the stereo field or his use of the omni polar pattern to get a distinct room tone AAAAAANNNNNNIEEEEEE
I mean… what is there not to love about this record? Jumping from influences in folk to experimental electronic, gabber, 80s retro-wave to UK DnB, this record is like an ever-morphing infant, learning a new word or doing a new thing every five seconds. You wont be disappointed.
