Chips on a stick appear in my life at the most perfect of times. After a concert, during a parade, at a packed carnival, when I’m hungry, when I’m desperate for a treat. Chips on a stick quench any feeling of hunger and fill your tummy with warmth. Despite its tacky-ness, it’s such a staple, and inflation now making it a whopping $12 will never stop me from buying chips on a stick a few special times each year.

I can still eat snacks like this. I just have to do math and give myself a shot beforehand. Just my cross to bear I guess… Anyway, Canada has mastered chips. It’s basically ketchup, salt and vinegar, BBQ in 1 chip and it’s more flavorful than any chips found on domestic soil. I pay to get these shipped in from Canada because they’re tasty as hell and I cant find them at the chips store in America.

There’s nothing quite like falling asleep in the sun in 30 degree weather, one of life’s greatest blessings. I love a little honk shoo to forget what I should be doing instead.

When looking up in a densely packed forest, i find there is so much beauty in the cracks where the sunlight escapes between a canopy of trees. Like maps of rivers, or veins in the arm, the space between has so much merit in its own and more, so many stories to tell. I love looking up! We should all make more of a habit of it! Wings of desire!
