sounds disgusting but i mean breaking down tasks into itty bitty pieces. to the point where itโs so small it seems silly. it makes things so much easier!!!

ok i super identify with this and what i've found helpful is:
- breaking my ideas up (if that makes any sense). if i can find a way to split something into stages/steps it becomes less intimidating... might sound really obvious but it took me a while to figure it out ๐
- getting someone else involved in ur project is also a good way to get around this - if u don't know how to start, they might
- make lists like your life depends on it

when the work just seems too big and bad. my therapist told me to do this and it was the only way i actually got myself to finish a project that i had been avoiding and building up in my head.
i spent the first 15 minute session with just the goal of writing out my to-do list, and by the end of that i realized that it wasnโt that big of a list after all. so then i did another 15 min, and another. and even though overall i only ended up working less than an hour on the project, it felt great bc i still worked 3x longer than i set out to!! and it felt so much more manageable getting back to it the next day!

I didnt have a smart phone for aggeeessss, but now i do. i did have an ipad that whole time so idk if thatโs cheating. the good thing about having an ipad/ tablet/ computer and not a smart phone is you can do all the stuff you need but itโs not like with you all the time? i did really miss google maps, but the other main thing that was irritating was not being able to scan QR codes for menus etc.
music wise, you can get the radio on a lot of flip phones or nokias, and i was never smart enough to figure it out but you can download music onto some. or i guess you could get an ipod or something. idk if this is helpful but i hope so!
