hell yah!! worked out for the first time in MONTHS three days ago and my abs still ache every time I sit up but it feels soooo gooood. love proof of effort.
getting back into weightlifting, going straight back into my routine, listening to my playlist, feeling great that I’ve still got *it* like “wowee look at my muscle memory hey”
cue feeling like I’ve been hit by a truck the next day and dramatically complaining for days more
yes I know what DOMs is, and yes this has happened more than once.
but it is a hubris I cannot shake in the moment
i walked for hours all over town yesterday just with my camera
needless to say i’ve been feeling it in my ankles and calves and such today
its nice huh
I mean, literally back on the saddle. A few weeks ago I fell off my bike in the dorkiest way possible because of my new shoes + clip pedals and ended up (mildly) fracturing my elbow. It sounds worse than it was luckily, but it hurt like hell that first week. I could only straighten my arm out maybe 60% of the way... no bueno. This week it's finally starting to fade away, so I hopped back on the saddle a bit earlier than the doc recommended and ripped around the park. I don't regret it at all. I feel incredible.
First time having one in a few years and I feel FREE. Finding excuses to go to places/see people just cuz I want to ride by bike. No better way to see your city than on a bike!
tomorrow PI.FYI launches to the public this project is the result of thousands of hours spent coding everything from scratch after I got laid off six months ago no thiel-bucks or weirdo outsider money, just a pure desire to make something fun and true to Perfectly Imperfect’s day one goal of helping people find new things from real human beings, not algorithms or AI a pure labor of love that I’ve been quietly plotting for two years and it’s completely self-funded from my (rapidly) dwindling savings account so thank you for coming along for this weird ride 🫶 let's see where it goes
