Iāve liked their music ever since āPictures of Girlsā, so I decided to check out their new album. This was definitely the standout track to me, and Iāve had it on repeat this entire week. So stoked to see them live later this year.
indie pop, mostly about the problems that come with relationships and love. theyāre all so relatable and down-to-Earth and intimate and great. this was such a refreshing album to find. iāve been listening to a lot of really pop-y and upbeat songs, so this was a good change of pace. my favorites are the title track, āBop Baā and āBass Playerās Brotherā, but all of the songs are so good. i get to see Valley in August when they open for AJR! so excited!
Love the vibes of this channel. My favorite series of his is the āUnremarkable and Odd Places in ___ā. He basically finds liminal space type places in popular video games and shows them off, and then muses about life for a while. As someone who barely plays video games, I still find the videos entertaining and oddly comforting. Overall itās a very chill time.
