Given as a gift to someone who really loved the week we spent there. Yea there are photos too, but drawing specific moments from memory gets at something photographs just canât in my opinion

đŒif yâall or your children (especially children, this would be soooo cute!!!) are inspired, do a lil painting or drawing of a place/scene/room/house that youâre staying in while youâre there. when we were little my aunts had a condo on the beach and weâd stay for a week every year. my dad would sit on the balcony and paint a watercolor of the ocean for them as a gift every year. this and maybe a gift card to their favorite local place could be really fun as a thank you.

đ«i specifically love keeping grocery slips!! theyâre usually specific to the trip and just jog memory in a different way. another favourite souvenir for me is a pack of playing cards thatâs connected to the place i went to, always a fun conversation starter and theyâre usually not too tacky.

đOk stay with me here. Too much public filming. This is going to discourage good weird public activity. We need people being weird in public. Odd dancing, carrying around insane items, freaked out fits, etc. Instead of a quick vid to show your friends, or, god forbid, *get internet clout*, people should be sketching the scene and describing it in colorful language. Now you have to take accountability for your opinion on the matter, your draftsmanship and writing gets better, and the public freaks have plausible deniability in the job interview. This goes for drunk man on the street tik tok videos as well. Put on a newsboy cap and start jotting. There should be exceptions like intentional performances or heinous crimes of course. Iâm open to other exceptions I just canât think of any rn. This will never be a reality but i can try
