perhaps a bit cliche? Unchic? Im not sure. But theres something incredibky satisfying about dragging these damn words together and creating unique arrangements. doing it in a shared flat is also nice bc its like an indefinite ever evolving shared art project

I love love love making silly poems with word magnets. Working with a finite set of words is liberating in its constraints. It‘s so fun to use weird words that I don’t use in written poetry. It’s also fun to challenge myself with finding synonyms! ahhh! So fun. So fun!
Plus, my poems are kind of trash but that’s the fun of it! No pressure to be perfect.

Tarot lady once gave me this advice.
what gives you energy and calm?
Meditation , move ur body etc.
think of it almost as a trance like state you need to enter to create stuff
You have to prioritise the (energetic) space you are in when creating - otherwise you can just easily sink out of it and do something else. Anything else can seem more important
And when youre done, do something to end the session like go for a walk or drink a tea
to come out of it

its like having a main and a pudding but they’re of equal substance/importance and the second part is only mildly sweet
