I love this band and I love this album! I have been wearing this shirt like once a week for several years. It’s faded and the collar is fraying. When I die, bury me in this shirt.

i got this at a concert where i was stone cold sober the night before driving 6 hours to rural PA to be a counselor at a Ukrainian orthodox church camp. i stayed at my friend’s parents place in baltimore and we smoked cigs on the roof of a building near MICA afterward. i got punched in the head so hard in the pit that i threw up. this shirt is well loved, well worn, and fits nicely. the first time i met my eccentric former neighbor of six years, The Bishop, I was wearing this shirt and was walking towards him. starting at the other end of the block he kept looking at me, stopping, doing finger guns, squatting, and saying “Yuh!” as we walked towards each other. right before we met i finally looked down and realized why he was doing that lol

i got it at the first caroline concert i went to in 2019, the night when i truly fell in love with her music. it's the comfiest, softest, safest shirt in the world. mine is getting OLD and it's still sold on her merch site so lowkey think i'm gonna buy a new one to have in the event my current one perishes... i've probably worn it 1,000 times. i'll never get rid of it!! the attachment is reallll

I have so many clothing items I am deeply attached to (and most of them happen to be t shirts) but this is one of the ones I’ve had the longest. It’s a State Fair Corndog shirt I stole from my dad when I was in like 4th grade. Fantastic sleep shirt

Log off Amazon prime and step into the real world. Go to a local physical store in your community. Look your neighbor in the eye and put money in their hand. Go to a local venue and hear what musicians in your community are creating. Talk to them about it afterwards. Buy a T-shirt or cd or whatever they’re selling, they’ll make more money from that than from thousands of streams. Seriously, Spotify pays a fraction of a penny per stream. Forget about Starbucks. Check out a local coffee shop instead. Learn your barista’s name and tip them. Go to your local book store and library. Look around and see what book covers catch your eye. Ask employees for recommendations instead of just reading whatever’s trending on #booktok.  Go to your local museums, farmers market, theaters, restaurants, whatever your community has going on. When you go local, you see your community in a new way. You make friends and feel more connected to the people around you. You will discover new things organically instead of relying on an algorithm. You keep your money circulating in your community instead of making billionaires richer. You will have a greater appreciation for where you live. P.S. Pay In Cash
