I teach world history, but today I took 117 thirteen year olds on a field trip that I organized, then I stayed after school to coach Esports. It is the best job in the whole world I'm not exaggerating. Most of the time, I get to just study about the material and then find fun ways to synthesize the material, all while yapping about my special interests. It's the best and yes I am a Gemini. I highly recommend especially if you had a tough time in school. I feel lucky a lot of the time, and even when I'm tired I get to remember that I don't participate in capitalism the same way as like an office job. Also, I'm in a union, which is the actual best part of the job.
people giving me compliments on my cognitive abilities and how good i am at my job is the best compliment. i’m a middle school science teacher and i do a lot of other things for the school. hearing my coworkers and supervisors say i’m doing great work (and knowing it, too) is just a really great feeling. i don’t work to make money, i work to change lives and hopefully the world. it’s super fulfilling but incredibly hard work. so hearing that i’m doing a good job is like telling me my soul is fulfilling its mission. 🥹 why did i cry a lil typing this? hahahahah
