rec to my own ask BUT the goonies 100% altered my brain chemistry, i watched it in elementary school and it's what got me into film and ill forever be grateful! watching led me down a path of researching steven spielberg and then realizing "wow movies are so cool i love this i need to be a director, directors are the coolest people ever" and then i slowly became more and more insufferable... jk.. kinda.. but i wouldn't be who i am today without randomly watching the goonies in elementary school!

okay im gonna go from the earliest movie i rewatched a lot and i think fairly had the most impact on me. im also fully aware that the childhood list is a bit wild bc my parents didnt regulate the kinds of movies i watched they pre much would just cover my eyes with their hands or a pillow whenever there are explicit scenes like kissing and sex even though i can fully hear the sounds but they mostly didnt care about gore and violence lmao. i did gravitate more towards movies that are appropriate for my age during pre-adolescence though... i think.

i started listen to jazz to help me get my school work done and came across Angelo Badalamenti, he composed the music for most of David Lynch's films, he makes ambient moody jazz but my favorite of his is the theme from twin peaks- fire walk with me. its probably because i love lynch's films but listening to badalamenti's composed songs places me into a different world and can be very different from most jazz but such a nice listen!

crumbl is overrated and insomnia cookies is where it's at! the closest insomnia to me is 30 minutes away and i take that drive over the crumbl location down the street any day. i seriously recommend. it doesn't just taste like a ball of sugar, it taste like an actual COOKIE. i loooove the smores and hot chocolate flavor
