I’ve been obsessed with this post-chorus?? Outro?? Since I was in my sophomore year of high school. And Anthony Fantano can debate me irl--just because an album/EP isn’t for miserable people doesn’t mean it’s bad. ā¤ļøšŸ§·šŸ’ž

it’s crazy to think she’s been around 15 years and this is one of the best songs she’s ever put out. It’s silly it’s outrageous the lyrics read like a tumblr post and she’s just out here trying to be that girl. It’s been stuck in my head since I heard it. following up a poetry book which I’m sure not a lot of people read with this unhinged masterpiece is the energy I want to see in the world.

I absolutely rinsed this album when it came out and again when brat dropped but wow - it was really such a moment in time - side note : you must never let your favorite songs get ruined for you after they become a tiktok sound.

Ok GUYS. this might be the biggest hear me out on the list, but hear me out. This album is so fun and so high energy- it is the antithesis to everything that’s going on in the world right now. Yes, fuck JT, but that bitch can sing fr fr. Every time I listen to these songs, I instantly start dancing and feeling better about myself and the world around me. Also they are so unserious it’s like listening to a comedy album, so big bonus there. Best tracks: It Makes Me Ill, No String Attached, Bringin’ Da Noise

ā€œGoogle isn't great at finding [old webpages], its focus is on finding answers to technical questions, and it works well; but finding things you didn't know you wanted to know, which was the real joy of web surfing, no longer happens.ā€ -Wiby about page I love Wiby.me! I’ve found some amazing old websites using its random page feature, but I know it also works as a search engine for these older pages. It really brings back that sense of wonder you used to have for the internet as a kid in 2012…

In my stint as a student of the University of Pittsburgh, one of the most common complaints I heard was of the massive school’s sprawling, depressing, almost-Soviet architecture. From the sharp corners of Posvar to the looming Litchfield Towers, spending grey winter days at the school—surrounded by sallow-faced boys smoking cigarettes on the corners—really could make you feel like you had passed through the iron curtain. Thanks to the eccentric tastes of my father, though, I was more captivated than these buildings than depressed. Also, when you’re 19 and desperately sad, it can feel pretty poetic to have that bleak essentialist mood projected into the landscape around you. Really, my only complaint is that Pitt should be taking better care of its concrete. It looks like it’s melting all the time. My favorite buildings at Pitt: • Posvar • Lawrence Hall • Chevron Science Hall • Litchfield Towers • Frick Fine Arts Building
