Great phrase. A tad southern dilettante-y perhaps, but that’s a plus for me. ā€œWhat, pray tell, are you going to do with all those onions?ā€ See, it adds a little wan aloofness to your disbelief

I'm not really one for southern phrases, but I do love placing one handover the other and going "pray tell" when someone has gossip or drama share

Ohh yeah. Don't even get me started on "of some sort" or anything like that. Don't know if that's a good example but I like it too.

southern phrase im a big fan of is "bless her heart" as both a recognition of someone being genuine and sweet, and a kind way of saying "she's dumber than a box of rocks". could also mean "i hate her guts" but you're in polite company. incredibly versatile phrase. oldy but a goodie.

Hoot and a holler. Let go and let god. Tongue enough for two sets of teeth. I’m southern and my mother told me it was ā€œclasslessā€ to have an accent and use these phrases. So obviously I’ve incorporated them into every professional setting possible. It’s the fastest way to disarm.

It’s just perhaps man. It beats saying ā€œI don’t know allā€œ the time. It’s the fun uncle or rich aunt of ā€œidkā€. It’s not too certain while still leaving room for hope.

Ok stay with me here. Too much public filming. This is going to discourage good weird public activity. We need people being weird in public. Odd dancing, carrying around insane items, freaked out fits, etc. Instead of a quick vid to show your friends, or, god forbid, *get internet clout*, people should be sketching the scene and describing it in colorful language. Now you have to take accountability for your opinion on the matter, your draftsmanship and writing gets better, and the public freaks have plausible deniability in the job interview. This goes for drunk man on the street tik tok videos as well. Put on a newsboy cap and start jotting. There should be exceptions like intentional performances or heinous crimes of course. I’m open to other exceptions I just can’t think of any rn. This will never be a reality but i can try
