i stopped doing it because i was so unmotivated. now i feel like im at a place where thats a possibility to do again in a sporadic way
and while im trying to reduce/eliminate my use of google as a whole, i feel more justified to use it because its like 10% of their business and so many people make their money with it through their own ventures and content

why did i ever stop watching them, idk. but i deleted tiktok off my phone and have been trying to find different ways to fill my time. so now i put youtube on and watch music videos. i recommend you do the same

is it annoying that they’re pushing this new feature? yes. however, when i just keep on scrolling, i guess the algorithm just craps out and gives me a video of a guy doing sketch comedy that he filmed on an old android phone that has 2 likes. it makes me miss that era of the internet where monetization was never a concern and people felt they could share themselves unapologetically
