So many ❤️

I’ve had really impactful encounters with animals at significant moments of my life - a silver fox on the anniversary of my grandma’s passing (snapped a photo that I’ll attach), a death witch moth on my first trip home in many years, several snapping turtle hatchlings on a day that I had quit a job that was slowly killing me, a mountain lion during summer 2020 when multiply tragedies were happening at once. There are also animals that I see repeatedly on walks that have become meaningful symbols to me- herons, water snakes, hawks, and coyotes especially. I love animals, even the scary ones, and I’m a big believer that they have a lot to teach us

i have many animals i like, but i like these outside the usual picks because when i was 6 i did an art project in relation to them and made a trash clay figure. my parents display it in the house 20 years later 😂 and an aside, i wanted to originally do the golden lion tamarin because i was obsessed with tokyo mew mew (specifically pudding fong), but someone else took it before me or it wasn’t allowed

rollercoasters were never fun

Especially when someone forces you to go on a crazy one that extends past the earths barrier and brings you on 10 loop do loops. It’s not even about a fear of heights, it’s just never that fun for some people!! The adrenaline makes me feel like I’m on the verge of death. Not to mention the waiting in line with fear grumbling in ur chest while ur friends r excited for the rollercoaster. It’s never worth it. NO I do not want to go on that rollercoaster.

Luminescent Creatures by ichiko aoba

Ichiko aoba is so masterful with her lyricism and melody writing, it all ties together cohesively into an image or story or whatever she’s conveying. this new album of hers is genuinely one of her bests (along with qp). I feel like I’m swimming with jellyfish and glittery sea stars, or I’m walking thru a post-apocalypse world alone.. delicious delicious delicious delicious
