Hot pot is kind of an underrated food. It is delicious. I like imitation crab and brisket! And Broccoli and Spinach. Dont be afraid to mix it up! Mushrooms and tofu as well. Oooooo yuuuuum

hot communal broth in what is indeed a pot where u let some veggies and meat and mushrooms and noodles go for a swim. the best part is making your Custom Sauce to dip everything in (my personal go-to is soy sauce, shacha sauce, sesame oil, and excessive amounts of garlic and cilantro). so yummers. sometimes i think we were put on this earth to gather at circular tables and eat this. relatedly, happy lunar new year! 🐍

falling in love with new food when out with friends

i had this duck leg noodle soup almost two months ago with dumplings and i can’t get it off my mind 🍜 what makes it better is the memories of enjoying it for the first time with my friend and the look on our faces when we had our first bite and knew this stuff was goooood ╰(*´︶`*)╯
