not only is it nice to thoughtfully consider and prioritize your plans in the morning,
but it’s so satisfying to declare a task done by checking a box. this is my list,
begging to be filled out
and checked off.
my good friend charlotte makes lists for all things i adopted this habit myself and i now can’t live without my to do list but its so much more than a to do list i have a list of creative endeavors i wish to achieve one day a list of places i want to go to in the city a list of upcoming events a list of things i need to buy a list of things i want to remember to tell someone the list goes on
I find hand-writing the checklist and crossing each task off is empowering for some reason. It also pushes me to get it done because I don’t like things weighing on me!
just because it’s considered the “most important” meal of the day doesn’t ALWAYS mean you have to have it first thing. pancakes:
taste good
are easy to make
can be creative shapes and sizes
don’t make your house stink
evoke nostalgic reminiscences
