I never hear anyone talk about this one! I think my mom bought this from a $5 DVD bin but it just ended up in my house one day as a kid and itâs my favorite rom com ever â ridiculous story but INSANELY good sound track that are still some of my favorite songs ever (e.g. Cigarettes & Coffee by Otis Redding but also Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots) and Isla Fisher being one of my favorite depictions of a manic pixie dream girl maybe ever. And sweet bb Abigail Breslin. Oh and Rachel Weisz.

this is one of my favorite movies and certainly one of my favorite rom coms! Cher, Nicolas Cage, Italians in New York falling in love and gossiping. itâs beautiful, so deeply funny, incredible score.
The best rom coms are about class. This one is about that and also Liza Minelli is there, what a treat!
This movie is endlessly quotable and the leads have sensational chemistry. Watch for the love story, stay for the early 80's fashion.
