I went to Aesop store on Newbury Street in Boston, to smell everything and understand what is the hype.
It all just smells like essential oils and earth.
Just ask your local spiritually-psychosis driven mom of 5 if she has some essential oils soaked hand soaps and sanitizers and she’ll give it to you for free
That cacophony of spicy and sweet and earthy. What is that? Patchouli? Hemp? Vitamins? You will find me wandering the aisles huffing the oils and supplements. Alright take it easy Shiloh, I'm gonna buy something. Not the $27 lotion. Well, maybe
I’m a very scent inclined person and my nose is strong, as a result every room has some kind of designated smell to it and it just makes sense to me. Here’s what’s in my rotation of scents for my new home
Living room: any fresh or dank candle (right now it’s Citrush by Boy Smells and the pomelo note smacks the entire room) but I’m partial to the Kush candles too. Anything that smells like musk or lemons or grass is preferable
Dining room and kitchen: ideally nothing or good food cooking but the hand soap has to be lemon verbena
Bathroom: lavender and vanilla
bedroom: palo santo or sandalwood
