i got this vintage eddie bauer puffer for $6 in amarillo texas in april.
let folks do their spring cleaning and then buy their stuff while everyone else is busy forgetting it will get cold again. if you possess the patience and foresight to sit on a sick find for many months, you will be rewarded tenfold with the coming fall.

A few weeks ago, I was hanging out with my Most Fashionable Friend, Matthew, who happens to be a very high-end tailor. I had been too eager to embrace the spring weather, and as we prepared to head to dinner outdoors, I found myself shivering. Matthew, being not only stylish but also chivalrous, offered to lend me his perfectly-hued green vintage North Face puffer, and told me I could keep it āfor the season.ā I've been wearing it every day the weather allows, and every time I get a compliment or catch myself looking cool in the mirror, I just think of Matthew and what an absolute gem of a guy he is. The moral of the story is to find ultra-chic, generous friends who will lend you their cool wares and let you rock them for extended periods of time. Itās cheaper than thrifting, and even more fun.

from CA moved to NY and lived in Berlin for a littleā¦ā¦. Nothing has impressed me a much as this full length 100% wool tweed coat from the 50s I thrifted in Oakland for $60 a few years ago. The sheepā¦ theyāre onto something
That being said not so much fun in the rain :-)
