i rarely go out late on weeknights but tonight i went to an event meetup thing and brought one of my tarot decks for fun and by far the most perfect one was the card i drew for the bartender. i was like omg it’s YOU and she was like omg it is so me i’m literally doing that right now!
i was nervous my readings would be inaccurate or weird but the ones i did all resonated a lot!!! :) i just got this deck recently and it’s inspired by but not the same as rider-waite, so it was good practice as i’m having to learn some of it. reading for others is fun in general and a great way to get better at learning the art!

🔮Sat around a table with some lovely women I’d never met before and we each pulled cards from our own decks and discussed what they symbolized to us. There was a lot of opening up and a lot of repeated cards which is statistically unlikely and made the whole experience all the more intimate. I went in with the intention to listen and learn, but I kept getting asked for my thoughts on card meanings, on reversals, on how the same card in a different deck might have a different meaning based on the art. It felt so good to unplug and just talk to women of all ages about all the different crossroads in their lives and to feel like without professional tarot experience my insight was still valued. Highly recommend!!

✨Funny, I was thinking about making a post on this!
I first started back in 2010. I was in an abusive relationship, and every. Single. Reading. I pulled the tower card (Iykyk).
I’ve been practicing consistently since. My favorite deck is the Vision Quest Tarot Deck, though I have many. I read for myself, and I love reading for others (most recently someone on here! 💗). I see it as a channel and it is a gift to be the conduit. I’ve always felt very connected to spirit and have some other practices I keep close to the vest. It’s been lovely connecting and growing with it.

i have been working w tarot more seriously for a few months now and it has been so illuminating. the cards have so much to say! the deck i work w most is the thoth deck which is truly stunning. thank you lady frieda harris <3 linked the cards and their interpretations and added a pic of one of my favs. (btw if u want a free reading from me pls lmk, i am trying to practice reading for others more!)

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
