Run errands together! Do long rides around the city! Go on picnics and hang out all day! There's too much focus on solo relationships in society, when smaller interactions with different people can help you re-balance that need to socialise.

there are two types of solo dates i go on:
one, where i sit with myself like at a restaurant/cafe i wanted to try or a movie i really wanted to see to enjoy it how i want to
or two, where i surround myself with a new community so i feel less alone but I AM alone bc no one knows me
options for one: movies, cafe/restaurant, library, thrifting, doing art outside, spa day, making a new meal at home, getting a sweet treat
options for two: cooking classes, gym/zoomba classes, book clubs, pottery, hiking groups, escape rooms
these are off the top of my head but enjoy yourself love there’s no one better to have fun with than yourself !

Sometimes the pressure to choose the music for my commute is too big, making the DJ decide is just better for me. Also, I feel like I'm listening to the radio which somehow feels better than just streaming my playlists over and over.
