I love watching movies about cool and funny people living in NYC before anyone had a cell phone and I love Parker posey and I love the NYC library system
I'm 20 minutes in and am already thinking about rearranging my four favorites on letterboxd. I love Parker Posey and want to be too hot to be a librarian all day. I missed buying tickets for the Valentine's Day showing at Vidiots but they added another show on Friday... my mouse hovers above the purchase button as we speak.
Parker Posey rocks so hard! Such a fun movie and you can tell the cast and crew were themselves involved in the party scene they were depicting! I think it's a really good movie for anyone feeling lost and aimless in their twenties, lovers of public libraries, diagetic musical pieces, and fun club fashion! I feel like Mary so much and wish I had her closet, her apartment, her job, and her man.
WHY did we stop playing Wii Sports???? Why did technology continue to evolve after the perfect tech was created?? Its as fun (if not more fun) than you remember. It's so SIMPLE yet intuitive and allows you to actually feel present. To play a game without hyperrealistic graphics and unnecessary social aspects is BLISS. Wii Tennis the best thing in the world. I hope they bring it back for sale without modernizing one single thing.
please remove it so you don’t look like a secret agent at a wedding. If you don’t track your steps or have your emails on your wrists for a few hours you’ll be fine I promise!!!
If you’re a proud New Yorker (or reside in a big city), this poem will probably make you feel seen. One of the reasons that I love city life is all the signs that people aren’t regretting life.
