i work a physically intensive job, so setting aside time to center myself and tend to my mobility is very important to me. that said, a surprising amount of work goes into finding the perfect backing track for these quiet moments of remediation, and andrĆ© 3000ās ānew blue sunā has been a haven for me since its release.
the lead melodies on its opening track incentivize thoughtful, intentional breathing, and encourage reflection in ways simple guided meditations simply canāt measure up to. on more than one occasion, i may or may not have been moved to tears by its ethereal cascades of emotion :ā)

Both of these songs build in intensity. Ecstasy of gold is inspiring. it is theatrical And romantic. Golden hours is soothing, thought provoking and scratches my brain in the right way. Itās one of those songs that I canāt skip. Have to listen to it in its entirety. I loop them on repeat.

āwear your shoes till the soles come off. you donāt need a new shirt. STOP mindlessly consuming things!!! enough!!! go sit outside for 10 minutes and think about if you are actually lacking anything material in your life (youāre probably not). if you do need new things have a thing-exchange with your friends itās so fun! stop falling victim to overconsumption
