I got this sucker on CD. It’s awesome, not to mention the story, the characters, the animation, the alien that talks in farts, that sexy cat lady, and and andd …
Yes!! Amazing soundtrack, amazing movie. It’s one of my favourite Disney movies, if not favourite. I wish I could go back and watch it for the first time, the opening alone floored me as a kid
also I think I had a crush on *everyone*
@SOFTSHELLED same!! I feel like it’s genuinely one of the best Disney movies 🤔 also I think the characters were 2D with specific teams drawing them and backgrounds were 3D which kind of blows my mind how well they work off of each other!
As a kid, I didn’t understand English for the first few years of my early life, but I LOVED movies and soundtracks. In retrospect, I think I clung onto the music so much more than most kids because it helped me understand the plot in the absence of dialogue.
That being said: The Incredibles was one of my favorite movies (which we watched on our big box TV) because of how exhilarating and suspenseful it felt as a kid— all thanks to the amazing jazz soundtrack. Highly recommend listening to it, and if you haven’t watched the movie it‘s completely fine; imo this soundtrack is one you can vibe and enjoy without any plot context
I’m too dear with lovely things. I keep the brooch my 2nd grade teacher gave me in a box, safe, and because of this I’ve never worn something I really like! I recently decided I needed to wear my brooch with the sweater I finished knitting this weekend. It made it feel even more special. :)
I was talking to a friend who’s visiting home after being abroad and we both agree that not seeing familiar trees fills you with a certain longing/loneliness. I love western red cedars!
