walking in pouring rain
woke up today not expecting rain but on the way to class i was met with it
and everytime i walk in the pouring rain my mind goes back to when i was seven running around as a kid with all my cousins in the rain
those were the days

This reminds me of the times it has poured rain while I’ve been on hikes. It’s always so nice to just hear the rain on your rainjacket or just the smell of the rain on the earth, hear the gentle pattering of the forest. honestly so peaceful.

walking in the rain when you have nowhere to be, no plans or anything is possibly the nicest freeing feeling in the world. You can't get wetter than wet and so once your wet, you may as well embrace it and have fun

getting caught in the rain sans umbrella
my elementary school field trips used to somehow always end with us running back to school in the rain, and one group of boys would always run around without their umbrellas yelling β€œskin is waterproof!!!” i rolled my eyes at them at the time but in retrospect they made a good point!

when it rained, i went out w/o an umbrella. i jumped in puddles collected cool rocks made a fairy garden
