let me clear the air: i am NOT a holistic wellness freak. I take shortcuts. I do the bare minimum. But this indulgence.... without making any false claims, this has fixed every issue i have. Hurts so good. I fall asleep on it every time. plus i love touching my spine and feeling like a scaly reptile afterwards.

i've been using this akupressure mat for years now - its rubber with conductive metal spikes 🀀 i am obsessed with it!!!! i love motionless healing tools, i love relieving inflammation & pain instantly and i really love raising my energy levels while getting very relaxed at the same time (very short fuse) i am sure the plastic alternatives work fine, but why bother?? we're worth it πŸ’œ

YMMV but i swear by my acupressure mat when I have a stress/tension headach. I roll it up and stick it under my neck/shoulder area. Bliss! It actually resolves the headache pretty quickly.

My magical, not-so-secret hideout at school. Come for the $3.00 frothy chai, stay to eavesdrop on chainsmoking hairdressers recounting their lives to the resident artist, sketching away. It's for locals and graduate students, tucked under failing real estate offices on Calder Ave. Limited hours and nothing flashy, except for the old-style bean roaster jammed right next to the door. Reminiscent of Prestogeorge in the Pittsburgh Strip. Pleasant and intimate. Charming baristas. When the weather's warm, perch outside and people-watch from your safe, buried trench. Also merchants of olive oil, tinned fish, and all your italio-american quick fixes.
