i saw a cat on my walk home

It was really friendly and I felt very lucky to be so welcomed by a total stranger cat. I tried to see the name on its collar a few times but it was too squirmy. After a few minutes of watching it roll around, I felt that I spent enough time in a strangers driveway laughing at and scratching a cat. When I started walking though, it lazily followed me! I made sure it didn't get too far from where it stopped me and the rest of my walk felt a little lighter. (the mystery kitty)

Telling people about THE new thing you’re trying

I often don’t want to tell people about ‘new’ things I’m doing because I am fearful that I’ll fail, or I won’t follow through, and that I won’t meet my own or others expectations. But I hate living with that fear or that guilt. it isn’t productive, and it means I don’t get to share the new things that are bringing me joy, so I’ve started telling people about the new stuff I’m doing, because I’d rather people know that I’m taking the leap and that I sometimes fail, than hide that from everyone, including myself.

Born This Way World Tour. Absolute back row nosebleed. The Fame was the first CD I ever owned, I got given it for my birthday in 2008 and played it so much it completely wore out. Gaga gave me a lot of my firsts, and helped me to come to terms with my queerness in a surprisingly healthy way for someone who grew up in the 2000s.
