Cutting my own bangs and not learning my lesson

There is nothing more high octane than grabbing the kitchen scissors in an emotional state and muttering ‘Fuck it’ while you attempt to follow a Brad Mondo YouTube video on your phone, only to give up watching half way through and go rogue. Could I pay a professional to fix this mess? Sure, but in a month when my uneven bangs finally grow out to an awkward length, I get to have the thrill of another emotionally charged snip-session.

Freshly cut bangssss

I used to cut my own bangs which was cheap and lit but Ive started getting them cut professionally and they just look so much better…. Pay the $10 and get them cut im so serious

Buying real shears to cut ur bangs instead of kitchen scissors

I have been cutting my own bangs since middle school and would use whatever scissors I would find around the house. Invested in a pair of real hair cutting shears for literally $14 and I cannot believe how huge of a difference it has made in how fast and how good my bangs look!!

Going underground

When the bar or venue or whatever is underground and you have to descend into the place because you can say some shit like “We are entering the seedy underbelly of this wicked city” “You know,” *cig drag* “crime is only a left-handed form of human endeavor.” And then your friends can be like “Viv, you can’t smoke inside Dude also where the fuck did you find a pipe and a fedora What are you even saying” Giving you the opportunity to respond with a “Beat it toots, you’re too pretty for these streets anyhow” Then you remember your friend already offered to pay for the Uber XL home and you have like 11 bucks so you drop the bit but the sentiment is still there below the surface
