I didn't know this book existed before I purchased it. I'm a slow reader so I don't read that much and this is my first Stephen King novel. I'm only about 25% through but it's really something.
I have about 90 pages left and it’s a very long book but trust me once you start reading you’ll get through it quickly because it’s just so good It’s about a teacher in 2011 who is told to go through a portal to the fifties and live there in order to prevent jfk’s assassination and it is So incredibly interesting It’s Stephen king but it’s not horror so it’s just his super fun casual style but with such a cool historical fictiony premise and it is so so good
I cannot recommend this book enough. King plays around with punctuation, italics, sentence structure in a way that really conveys the difference in conscious thought, subconscious thought, and spirits in a way I’ve been raving about since I first read it.
Being a trans woman and also dressing in traditionally masculine clothes (or cosplaying male characters) feels good, I feel so feminine and pretty in suits and what not, I love being comfortable with my gender! (Skirts are great too don't get me wrong, they go spinny)
