this whole vinyl>cassette>cd vhs>dvd>blu ray console1>console2>console>3 and back again etc. nostalgia cycle is boring as hell we gotta invent some crazy new shit to collect physically some crazy new physical media . i want to listen to music on wood bricks or some shit like that will someone do this?

from a more dystopic perspective, i think we all need to start collecting physical media, whether thst be CDs, DVDs, magazines, or VHSa. i just think that we'll ultimately get to a point in society where the arts we love that are stored in a digital space will no longer be accessible, and I for one wouldn't want to weather the apocalypse without radiohead and reality tv.
